Terms of service

Draft — for counsel review. Effective September 2026.

What Atlas Project is

Atlas Project is an automated text-message relay and advertising platform. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, is not a lawyer referral service, and does not evaluate, rank, or recommend attorneys. Attorneys and towing companies pay Atlas Project a flat fee to advertise on the network; Atlas Project never receives a percentage of any legal fee or a fee per case. Participating firms are listed on the disclosures page and may change at any time. Any engagement is solely between you and the attorney or tow operator, under their written agreement with you. You are free to use any attorney or tow company you choose.

Not an emergency service

Atlas Project does not dispatch police, fire, or medical help. If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911 first. Nothing sent by Atlas Project is a guarantee of outcome, response time, or availability.

Messaging

By texting ########### you agree to receive automated messages related to your request, including up to three short follow-ups: a check-in the day after (a reminder to see a doctor, and that feeling shaken for a few days is normal), an optional offer to explain your own insurance policy, and a one-time question about whether you were helped. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end, HELP for help, DELETE to erase your record.

Insurance information

Sharing insurance details is optional. If you connect your insurer account through our verification partner, you authorize that partner to retrieve your policy information and share it with Atlas Project and the attorney assigned to you. Atlas Project does not verify coverage and is not an insurer, broker, or adjuster.

Your information

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who sees it, and how to delete it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Atlas Project to send false reports, to harass, or to solicit at crash scenes. Tow operators and attorneys on the network are prohibited from paying or receiving referral fees, from soliciting at crash scenes, and from any per-case payment to ###########.
